Theme for 2012: The Great Controversy

Wars, moral decay, death, disease, natural disasters of every kind signal something is wrong with our planet and our population.  In 2012, the future has never looked more bleak.  Banks predict another GFC will strike us at any moment.  The economic turmoil in Europe, a mere harbinger of what will soon hit our shores also.  The Mayan calendar popularised in a series of blogs, films and documentaries predicts the end of the world to take place on the 21st of December this year.  However, we believe that we have a more sure word of prophecy for 2012...the Bible!  The Bible presents to us the truth about the end of the world.  Through its pages we get a very real sense of the big picture and where we fit within it.  At this very moment, there is an epic battle raging and most people don't know about it.  Christ and Satan are today engaged in a war of incredulous proportions.  Whether you like it or not, believe it or not, you are caught in the battle field of this conflict.  What is at stake in this war?  How can you fight and win in this war?  This is what we will be focussing on in ALIVE this year.  There are only 2 sides & we choose Jesus - will you?  For a fuller exposition on our theme, see the video below.
